These guidelines provide provisions for the arrangement, installation, control and monitoring of machinery, equipment
and systems using methyl/ethyl alcohol as fuel to minimize the risk to the ship, its crew and the environment, having
regard to the nature of the fuels involved.
Part B - Guidelines for Ships Using LPG as Fuel
These guidelines provide provisions for the arrangement, installation, control and monitoring of machinery, equipment and
systems using LPG as fuel to minimize the risk to the ship, its crew and the environment, having regard to the nature of the
fuels involved.
Part C - Guidelines for Ships Using Ammonia as Fuel
The Guidelines for Ships Using Ammonia as Fuel (hereinafter referred to as “the Guidelines”) makes reference
to requirements specified in SOLAS, the IGC Code and the IGF Code with a view to minimizing the risks to ships,
seafarers and the environment in consideration of the particular characteristics of ammonia as well as the standards
for the equipment (including associated control and monitoring systems) installed on board ships using ammonia as
fuel, which have been independently established by the Society up until now
