Description: Gnomonic Projection (tracking chart) of the North Pacific and the North Atlantic. The chart is used to track ortodromic courses, that are straight lines on the chart, obtaining initial, arrival, and intermediate waypoints, and finally bringing them back on a Mercator's chart. The result is the orthodromic course approximated by a broken rhumb line that can easily followed. Files are high quality (4650 x 3300) and fully printable. See note.
Additional info:
Caution. In case you print the paper for training or navigation purposes, make sure that the final print dimensions exactly match the recommended ones. To ensure the chart is printed at the proper scale (no printing deformation) the two control lines (vertical and horizontal) in the lower left corner must be 152 millimeters (6 inches) long.
