queyibuke, the 7th edition book is more advanced and harder problems..Not recommended for beginner's. This book by Martin Rhodes is easy to understand with simpler problems and more emphasis on understanding and initial concept building.
thirdmate, I have found one more book by author Martin Rhodes, Ship Stability For Deck Officers-Class 4/OOW covering the requirements for SQA examination and HNC level units being offered by colleges. Since u r specifically looking for this author for your exams, Will upload it together with the colour version of above. Cheers!
