Description: In the world today, there is an ever-growing need for green energy. Fossil fuels are running out and the emission of greenhouse gas are harmful to the future of our planet. The maritime industry is one of the largest emitters of carbon dioxide in the world. To not only reduce pollution in the maritime industry, but also to innovate the industry by making it more profitable, we have looked for ways to incorporate the concept of green energy into the shipping industry (with a preference for application onboard seagoing vessels).
