Два члена экипажа балкера Astoria Bay получили сильные ожоги 7 января во время работы с бойлером. Судно находилось вблизи Колд Бэй, Аляска, следуя из Порт Анжелес штат Вашингтон на Китай. В ночь на 8 января пострадавших снял вертолет Береговой охраны США, позже они были перевезены в Сиэтл. Судно следует в порт назначения.
