The Directorate, in order to ensure continual improvement in the face of ever evolving global and national shipping scenario, and also taking cognizance of the need to keep abreast of the latest technological advancement in the field of maritime education and training, has promulgated over the years a number of relevant guidelines in the form of MS Notices, Training Circulars and DGS orders. Recognizing the need for a comprehensive Training Manual as a ready reckoner for the Maritime Training Institutes to comprehend the compliance requirements, the Directorate had taken up the challenging task of consolidating all the relevant information.
